HEIRS OF PROMISES, PRISONERS OF HOPE

We have a Promised Land to look forward to with hope. What can the study of the earthly land of promise teach us about seeking the heavenly Canaan? What challenges can we expect to face? This week we will see how lessons learned from earthly the Canaan can lead us to the heavenly Canaan.

THE TRUE JOSHUA

How does the life and ministry of Joshua point forward to the ministry of Messiah? This week's lesson will explore the concept of "type and antitype" in scripture. How was Joshua a type of Jesus? What did Jesus accomplish that Joshua was unable to do?

GIANTS OF FAITH: CALEB AND JOSHUA

Caleb and Joshua were among the spies Moses sent to scout Canaan. They were the only ones that brought back a report grounded in faith. I this week's lesson we will take a closer look at the men who were faithful in their report to Moses, and who remained faithful to God 40 years later.

ULTIMATE LOYALTY: WORSHIP IN A WAR ZONE

Reaffirmation of the covenant was an important step in recentering God in the lives of the Israelites. When we are in the midst of ongoing battles how can we center worship? What can we learn from the practice of building altars of remembrance?

THE ENEMY WITHIN

There was sin in the camp. This lesson explores how one man's sin led to Israel's defeat in battle. What was his sin? How was it exposed? What were the consequences? Can we find hope for our sinful state in this story?

THE LORD GOD FIGHTS FOR YOU

Israel takes possession of the land of Canaan, but why was the judgment on the Lord on the inhabitants of Canaan so severe? What do the commands of God in this scenario reveal about his character and judgment? We will answer these questions, and more, in this week's lesson.

THE CONFLICT BEHIND ALL CONFLICTS

Who is the The Commander of the Army of the Lord? Why won't he take sides? What does this have to do with the Cosmic Conflict? In this lesson we will learn how God wants to deliver us from both external and internal battles, and how the Lord will fight for you.

MEMORIALS OF GRACE

Israel prepared themselves for what would be a miraculous crossing at the Jordan river. Why did the Lord instruct Joshua to build an altar of remembrance after the crossing? What are some ways we can build altars of remembrance?

SURPRISED BY GRACE

In this week's lesson we explore the grace of God in the circumstance of exploring Canaan a second time, and how Rahab and her family were shown mercy and grace. We will also look at God's grace in spite of the deceptive conduct of the Gibeonites.

RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

We begin this quarter by looking at how Joshua was prepared and chosen by God to lead Israel into the promised land. We will also discuss the link between obedience and the assurance of success, as well as the theme of being "strong and courageous".

The Tabernacle

The building of the Tabernacle from the supply of the materials, skill, and detailed design was to convey an important message to Israel through God's end-time people. In this lesson we will take a closer look at that message.

Please, Show Me Your Glory!

This lesson highlights the Tent of Meeting as a special meeting place for Moses and God. What can we learn about seeking a closer relationship with God? We will also look at the second giving of the Ten Commandments. What can we learn about the compassion and patience of God?
